NanoActive™ Oryzanol

01 · NanoActive™ Oryzanol: Oryzanol Nanoliposomes

Cosmetic active ingredient product introduction. INCI: ORYZANOL. Rice-derived antioxidant defense, reinvented by liposomal delivery.

Powered by PURISOME® FlexVes™ Liposome Technology. PuriPharm Co. Ltd.

02 · From Rice-Bran Active to Nano-Delivered Antioxidant

γ-Oryzanol is a group of phytosterol/triterpene alcohol ferulate esters naturally found in rice bran oil. Sterol lipids provide lipid affinity, while ferulate groups provide radical-defense potential.

Antioxidant: radicals/lipid peroxidation. Photoaging care: light-induced oxidative stress. Aging care: collagen/elastic-network concepts. Skin + Hair: skin, scalp, and hair.

NanoActive™ uses lipid vesicles to improve practical cosmetic formulation design.

03 · γ-Oryzanol Ingredient Science

A mixture of ferulate esters in the unsaponifiable fraction of rice bran oil. Representative components: Cycloartenyl Ferulate, 24-Methylene Cycloartanyl Ferulate, Campesteryl Ferulate, and Sitosteryl Ferulate.

An ester bond links the phenolic antioxidant ferulic-acid moiety with a lipid-affine phytosterol/triterpene-alcohol moiety.

07 · Oxidative Stress Connects Exposure and Skin Aging

UV/pollution/ROS, oxidative stress, cellular damage, ECM degradation, and loss of elasticity/roughness/uneven tone form the schematic pathway.

NanoActive™ Oryzanol uses antioxidant design for daily aging-care concepts. This does not replace sunscreen and provides no SPF/PA claims.

08 · 2026 Nanoencapsulated γ-Oryzanol Research

09 · Protecting Collagen, Elastin, and Hyaluronic-Acid Networks

The dermal ECM schematic shows collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid. Oxidative stress and collagenase/elastase/hyaluronidase activity can contribute to network breakdown.

Multi-enzyme defense extends the literature concept from ROS management to structural-network preservation.

10 · Fibroblast Vitality

Dermal fibroblasts maintain collagen, elastin, and ECM. Oxidative pressure can reduce vitality/migration and accelerate structural decline.

Yadav’s 2026 nanoemulsion study reported ROS reduction, viability support, and migration in an oxidative model, informing cellular vitality, matrix defense, and resilience concepts.

15 · From Lipophilic Active to Formulation-Ready Nano Active

Oryzanol, PURISOME® FlexVes™, and NanoActive™ Oryzanol form the design pathway.

Protection: a phospholipid microenvironment. Dispersion: an adapted form for cosmetics. Delivery: effective skin-surface contact potential. Flexibility: serums, lotions, creams, scalp, and hair products.

The design changes incorporation and contact rather than merely adding free Oryzanol.

16 · Biomimetic Lipid Vesicle Architecture

The scientific schematic labels a hydrophilic aqueous core, phospholipid hydrophilic heads, and a hydrophobic bilayer domain. Highly lipophilic γ-Oryzanol is proposed to associate preferentially with the bilayer rather than the inner aqueous core.

Oryzanol, lipid-bilayer association, vesicular dispersion, and cosmetic delivery. The localization drawing is proposed architecture rather than a direct measurement.
