Puri-Xyl acts on three levels of the skin:

1.Dermis (Reserves): Significantly increases the synthesis of Glycosaminoglycans (GAGs).

2.Epidermis (Flow): Stimulates the expression ofAquaporin-3 (AQP3)to facilitate water and glycerol transport between cells; strengthens Tight Junctions.

3.Stratum Corneum (Barrier): Promotes the synthesis of Ceramides 1 and 2, reinforcing the intercellular lipid cement to create an “Anti-Dehydration Shield.”

In-Vivo Study: 25 volunteers with dry skin applied a lotion containing 3% Puri-Xyl twice daily for 30 days.

●Anti-Dehydration Shield: After 30 days, Trans-Epidermal Water Loss (TEWL) was significantly reduced by-13%.

●Hydration Kinetics:

○24 Hours:Immediate barrier reinforcement observed.

○8 Days:Visible improvement in hydration.
